The journal Frontiers in Psychology has opened the deadline for submissions to a special issue entitled Anxiety Disorders on Childhood and Adolescence: Psychopathology, Assessment, and Treatment. Dr. José Pedro Espada and Dr. Mireia Orgilés of the AITANA research group will collaborate as editors in this new issue of the subsection of Psychology for Clinical Settings.
This new issue encourages researchers and professionals in the child and adolescent field submit their contributions on psychopathology, psychological assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders in childhood and adolescence through qualitative (systematic) and quantitative (meta-analysis) reviews, epidemiological studies, descriptive studies, psychometric studies including cross-cultural validation of instruments, case studies, treatment assessment studies, both open trials, and randomized controlled trials. We also welcome articles about developments in new therapies, including proposals from the transdiagnostic approach and information and communication technology-assisted therapies, in order to alleviate the suffering of children and their families caused by anxiety disorders.
