The AITANA research group was created in 2010 by a group of professors of the Miguel Hernández University with a common interest: the study of psychological problems of children and adolescents and the improvement of their physical and emotional well-being. The group is interested in the psychopathology, assessment and treatment of psychological problems in childhood and adolescence. AITANA researchers apply the advances in their studies developing their applied work offering advisory services in research and intervention to institutions and entities. They train professionals in child and adolescent therapy through the Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents, accredited by ANECA and with access to the doctorate. AITANA promotes the dissemination of the latest advances in the field of childhood and adolescence through the International Congress of Clinical Psychology and Health with Childhood and Adolescence, which since 2011 annually brings together specialists from around the world. Since 2014 the group publishes the Journal of Clinical Psychology with Children and Adolescents which disseminates scientific studies in this area. The members of the AITANA group share the same way of understanding research in psychology: they want to contribute in a meaningful, intense and quality way to scientific knowledge. They share their passion for child and adolescent clinical and health psychology and feel very fortunate in their work.
